Elmore County EMA hosted the Exercise 101 course presented by the Center for Disaster Healthcare Preparedness on November 14th. This course was an excellent training opportunity for our healthcare agencies to learn how to plan, develop and carry out an exercise for their organization or facility. Emergency Management is a process in which all agencies communicate and collaborate in major emergency and disaster situations. Exercises are a critical part of the process for evaluating the plans developed to be prepared for the hazards and vulnerabilities that we face.
