This past week Elmore County’s Deputy Chief Engineer, Luke McGinty, had the opportunity to speak at the 2017 Alabama Strategic Highway Safety Plan Summit in Tuscaloosa. Mr. McGinty discussed potential partnerships with local, state, and federal agencies to identify traffic safety challenges and potential solutions. Elmore County has been a consistent participant in the state’s Strategic Highway Safety Plan since its inception in 2004.
