Along with roadside cleanup on Saturday, April 14th, citizens will be allowed to bring household trash to locations listed on map below. Countywide Cleanup happens on the 2nd Saturday of each month. This Saturday, March 10th, locations for Countywide Cleanup are listed below.
CEWSA Redland Rd Facility (GPS 32.509, -86.119)
« Near intersection of Dozier, Firetower, & Redland Rd. Follow Redland Rd. N. Location is on the left just before Windy Ridge Rd.
Elmore County Judicial Complex, 8935 US Highway 231, Wetumpka (GPS 32.564, -86.195)
« Hwy 231N across from Tutwiler Prison. Take 2nd left into the Judicial Complex north parking lot.
« From Hwy 231 S take the 1st right into the Judicial complex north parking lot.
Town of Elmore Annex, 485 Jackson St, Elmore (GPS 32.541, -86.315) – ODD MONTHS ONLY
« From Hwy 14 W & Hwy 143, turn left on AL-14 W/AL-143 S towards Millbrook. Turn right on Jackson Street. Follow Jackson St. N to Town Hall is on left and location is in the parking lot past Town Hall.
« From Deatsville, follow Hwy 143 S, turn right on Jackson Street. Follow Jackson St. S to the Town Hall on right and location is in the parking lot before Town Hall
Emerald Mountain Equestrian Center (GPS 32.469, -86.105)
« From Rifle Range Rd to Old Ware Rd. before Emerald Mountain Parkway. Location is on the left on Maple Crest Cr.
Holtville High School, 10425 Holtville Rd, Holtville (GPS 32.636, -86.326)
« From Wetumpka, follow Holtville Rd. (Hwy 111) N to Slapout. Location is in the front of Holtville High School.
« From Deatsville, take Hwy 143 S to Coosa River Rd. Follow Coosa River Rd. N to Holtville Rd. (Hwy 111). Turn right onto Holtville Rd. (Hwy 111). Location is in the front of Holtville High School.
Kent – Old Highway Department (GPS 32.620, -85.950)
« From Tallassee, follow Hwy 229 N towards Kent. Turn left at the 4-way stop onto Channa Creek Rd (CR-44). Location is 100 yards on the right across from the softball field.
« From Eclectic, follow Channa Creek Rd past Weldon Rd. Location will be on the left just before the intersection of Hwy 229 and Channa Creek Rd. across from the softball field.
**On Saturday, April 14th, Operation Spring Clean will include roadside cleanup as well as countywide cleanup.
