Alabama Department of Corrections hosted a ground breaking ceremony today for a 5,000 square foot expansion to the Alabama Corrections Industies’ Sewing Plant. This addition will help increase productivity and improve working conditions for employees. This sewing plant produces clothing products for the state correctional facilities along with county and city jails throughout the state.
