Monday, May 21 is the last day to register to vote for the June 5, 2018 primary election. Anyone may register to vote if he or she resides in Alabama, is at least 18 years old on or before Election Day, hasn’t been barred from voting due to a disqualifying felony conviction, and hasn’t been declared mentally incompetent by a court.
Voter Registration forms may be picked up at the Board of Registrar’s Office in the Elmore County Courthouse in downtown Wetumpka. Forms can be downloaded from the Secretary of State’s website www.alabamavotes.gov and mailed to Elmore County Board of Registrars. All state and county offices providing public assistance (Medicaid, WIC, DHR, etc.) also have voter registration forms available.
