Elmore County EMA hosted a Hurricane Preparedness Tabletop Exercise for local stakeholders and partner agencies on Tuesday, June 12, 2018. The exercise allowed each agency an opportunity to discuss how they coordinate resources, response and recovery efforts when a tropical storm system affects Elmore County. Some of the topics that were discussed were community preparation, volunteer services management, communications, mass care services, and critical infrastructure roles. The goal of the exercise was to foster a better understanding of the roles and capabilities of each agency.
