Keith Barnett started on October 1, 2018 as the Emergency Management Agency Director and has been very busy serving the county. In October, Keith met Congresswoman Martha Roby and discussed his plans moving forward with the efforts in the EMA office. So far in November, Keith has met with mayors, fire departments, and other partnering agencies throughout the county. Also this month, Keith helped coordinate a full-scale exercise at the Elmore Community Hospital that helped staff and partners practice and improve disaster preparedness.
