County’s EMA Hosts After Action Review of January Tornado Event

Recently, the Elmore County Emergency Management Agency hosted an After Action Review of the January 19th tornado that affected Wetumpka and portions of rural Elmore County.  During the meeting, members of the Wetumpka Police Department, Wetumpka Fire Department, Autauga County EMA, volunteer fire departments, the county’s Sheriff’s Department, E911, Highway Department, Commission Office, and EMA discussed how members of each department could work together in the future to streamline efforts in emergency situations.
