Tuesday, July 9th, the Elmore County Commission hosted the mayors of our eight municipal governments along with representatives from the Elmore County Board of Education and the Elmore County Economic Development Authority. One of the two main discussion points in the meeting was Emergency Response. Commissioners and staff members discussed opportunities related to communications, resources and grant opportunities. A major point of emphasis was how the county Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is a resource for all local governments in Elmore County. The Commission encouraged our municipalities to collaborate with the county to maximize our resources.
