Last week, County Commissioners Kenny Holt, Bart Mercer, Troy Stubbs joined commissioners from all over the state for the Association of County Commissions of Alabama’s (ACCA) 91st Annual Convention. Attendees participated in educational workshops in a wide range of topics including the implementation of the Rebuild Alabama Act, the nationwide opioid crisis, prison reform, employee retirement options, and the 2020 Census. Governor Kay Ivey shared her thoughts on the success of the Rebuild Alabama Act in the Legislature and what she invisions from the counties as the implimentation phase moves forward.
