Elmore County Commissioner Daugherty serves as the county government representative on the Alabama First Responder Commission. The purpose of the committee is to strengthen public safety emergency communications and inoperability and to create a unified and integrated voice/data communications platform, with the technology, equipment and procedures necessary to allow first responders and agencies in the entire state to communicate safely and effectively during times of emergencies.
“In today’s ever-changing world, it is imperative that first responders have access to the latest technology and equipment, while protecting the citizens of Alabama” stated Commissioner Mack Daugherty.
