County Commission Chairman Troy Stubbs, Commissioner Bart Mercer, and commission staff recently attended the Association of County Commissions of Alabama’s (ACCA) 2019 Legislative Conference. Participants heard from state legislators and subject experts on a variety of topics. Priorities for the upcoming session include retirement system improvements, prisons, sentencing reform efforts, and mental health services for counties. ATRIP-II committee member shared approved funding for the upcoming road projects for FY2020.
