Elmore County employees recently underwent training on the newly implemented appraisal system. During the series of meetings, the County’s Chief Engineer and Operations Officer, Safety/Human Resources Director, and County Attorney explained why the appraisals are important, how this system will differ from past practices, and what the employees can expect to see as the appraisal process begins. This training follows training that was performed for all elected officials, department heads and supervisors.
The employees are the greatest resource for county government which is why the County Commission has been focused on ways to incentivize performance and attracting/ retaining a quality workforce.
