The Elmore County Commission will reopen with limited access to the county facilities beginning Monday, May 4th. The limited access is intended to minimize the risk of exposure for citizens and employees to the COVID-19 virus. Citizens should continue to utilize our online services to conduct business or contact the county department with which you need services by phone first before attempting to enter the facility. If a personal visit is deemed necessary after a call to the specific county department, county personnel will give directions on how and when access to the building may be granted. If permitted inside a county facility, please utilize respiratory etiquette such as covering coughs and sneezes, practice social distancing while in the facility, and frequent hand washing/ sanitizing.
All individuals requesting to enter the facility shall have their temperature checked by infrared thermometer prior to entry. Individuals exceeding the maximum temperature threshold set by the County will not be allowed to enter the facility. If you or any of the persons living in your household have traveled outside Alabama within the past two weeks, have a fever or have a persistent cough, PLEASE do not attempt to enter the building.
The Elmore County Commission appreciates your consideration of our employees’ health while you minimize your risk of exposure as well. Online services will remain available to the public as well as county staff to assist by telephone and email. Citizens are encouraged to follow guidance issued by ALEA and ADOR related to tags, titles and licenses https://www.alea.gov/covid-19-response and https://revenue.alabama.gov/.
