Elmore County would like our citizens to be aware of an annual test of the emergency alert system being conducted tomorrow by Alabama Power.
Alabama Power’s notice states:
“Alabama Power & SCG Hydro Services will be conducting our annual test of the Automated Downstream Notification System tomorrow, November 17, 2020. The system is used to notify residents immediately downstream of Harris, Lay, Mitchell, Jordan, and Bouldin Dams in the event of an emergency.
Residents can check or update their contact information for any relevant warnings or notifications here.”
