Redland Road, just west of the Firetower / Dozier Rd intersection, will be closed beginning Thursday, May 20th, at 10:00 PM and will reopen Friday, May 21st, at 6:00 AM. The road will be closed 500 feet west of the Firetower/ Dozier Rd intersection to allow Central Elmore Water & Sewer Authority’s contractor to relocate a water main as part of the roundabout project occurring at the intersection.
After reopening of the road occurs, traffic should still proceed with caution as asphalt patching will be commencing in the early morning hours of Friday to complete the installation.
Motorists should prepare to utilize alternate routes during the closure and should consider these alternate routes until asphalt patching is finalized.
Anyone with questions related to this planned closure may contact the Elmore County COO Richie Beyer at email@example.com.
