Elmore County Commissioner Desirae Lewis was recently appointed to the Association of County Commissions of Alabama (ACCA) Minority Issuses Steering Committee. This steering committee assists in shaping the legislative priorities and platform for the ACCA along with providing feedback to the ACCA Board of Directors on policies of the board.
“I am excited for the opportunity to serve on this committee with fellow County Commissioners from across Alabama” stated Commissioner Lewis.
Commissioner Lewis is currently in her first term as an Elmore County Commissioner.
