The intersection of AL 14 and Coosada Parkway is the second of three major area intersections being improved under Rebuild Alabama’s ATRIP II program being finalized. The addition of a dedicated right turn lane on Coosada Parkway along with traffic signalization addresses traffic flow and safety issues. The Elmore County Commission partnered with the Town of Coosada to acquire the ATRIP II grant funds to fund the improvements. The project is now awaiting the signal to be activated along with final striping to be complete. This intersection was one of three intersections the Elmore County Commission was awarded funds to provide improvements.
