During the Janury 24, 2022 Commission Meeting, the Elmore County Commission approved a resolution recognizing Macey Stewart for her accomplishments at the 2021 Alabama High School Athletic Association (AHSAA) State Swim Met. Macey won the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 51.57 and the 100 Yard Backstroke setting a state record with a time of 55.75.
