Elmore County would like our citizens to be aware of an annual test of the emergency alert system being conducted tomorrow by Alabama Power.
Alabama Power’s notice states:
“Alabama Power & SCG Hydro Services will conduct an annual test of the Automated Downstream Notification System tomorrow, November 15, 2022 at around 11:00 AM CDT. The system is used to notify residents immediately downstream of Harris, Lay, Mitchell, Jordan, and Bouldin Dams in the event of an emergency.”
