Elmore County forces and first responders are currently responding to and assessing damage created by the tornado/ severe weather activity this afternoon. Major damage is located throughout the north west quadrant of the county. Wide spread power outages and trees blocking roads can to found throughout the county. Citizens are requested to stay clear of areas affected along the track of the storm. Unnecessary traffic is hindering emergency personnel from clearing roadways of downed power lines, trees, and debris along with executing emergency operations.
