The Elmore County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) is working to finalize details for a coordinated Donation Center to assist residents of Elmore and Autauga who were affected by yesterday’s severe weather. Until the donation center details are released, monetary donations can be made to the Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund.
The Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund (ECDRF) was started in 2011 by people in the community to help those in the community. Since then, then over $400,000 has been given to hundreds of families in direct aid. The ECDRF has been activated to assist those impacted by the recent tornado on January 12, 2023.
To donate to the ECDRF, you may:
- Make checks out to Elmore County Disaster Relief Fund and mail them to P.O. Box 1060, Wetumpka, Alabama 36092, or deposit them at any of the six branches of First Community Bank of Central Alabama.
- Or give online in partnership with the Central Alabama Community Foundation at www.cacfinfo.org/give/elmore-county-tornado-relief.
