Recently, field turf installation started on the northern multipurpose field at the Hohenberg Field complex in Wetumpka. The improvements to the complex include two new multipurpose turf fields, the installation of new sports lighting, paved parking areas, renovation of concrete plazas and the demolition of outdated facilities for future expansion of the stadium field. Beasley Construction Services and their subcontractors have been diligently working to complete the planned improvements for the group partnering together to fund and manage the improvements.
The Hohenberg Field Improvements are a joint venture funded and managed by the City of Wetumpka, Elmore County Board of Education, and Elmore County Commission. The project is scheduled to be completed prior to early 2024.
